to our fantastic cottage – abuts Acadia National Park – walk
to beach
This
charming three-bedroom cottage is located in the wonderful village of Seal
Harbor on Mount Desert Island, Maine. Our home abuts Acadia National Park
and is less than ½ mile from a public, sandy beach. Ride your bike
down the road and pick up the carriage roads or continue on to the Jordan
Pond House, less than 1½ miles away. Fall asleep listening
to Stanley Brook out the back windows. Our farm-style house features a
covered porch with rockers, a back porch for grilling, hardwood floors,
comfortable living room, dining room and full kitchen with breakfast bar.
Upstairs is sleeping for six in three bedrooms: one with king bed, one
with queen bed and one with two twin beds, and one bath with tub shower.
Linens and towels are provided.
Some amenities include: gas grill, cable TV with DVD, wireless internet
(you’ll
need your own laptop) fully supplied kitchen with coffee maker, toaster,
blender, toaster oven, microwave, dishwasher, and lobster pot. Washer and
dryer in the basement. Our home is supplied with many little extras including
games, puzzles, cards, books and DVDs to make it feel like home. Our property
is non-smoking. Dogs considered.
MDI has everything needed for a wonderful vacation: Acadia National Park,
Bar Harbor, pristine lakes (including Echo Lake), hiking trails, carriage
roads, and much more. Our cottage is a wonderful spot for your week-long
vacation, situated just minutes from the carriage roads, a public sandy beach
and most attractions. Other activities include: biking, boating, whale watching,
canoeing (kayak and canoe tours), swimming, horseback riding, wonderful dining,
shopping, deep-sea fishing, and golfing.
